Products & MaterialsOur work and the materials we cast

Products & Materials: From large rings to small blades.

From a flanged bushing 1,800 mm in outer diameter to a 5 kg stainless steel blade. Here are 15 examples of our work, mostly in copper alloys but also in stainless steel, cast iron, and cast steel, followed by the main parts we make and the materials we cast.

Part I, About Our Products: Parts that endure heavy loads and heat.

Ueda Metal Works makes parts used mainly in presses, machine tools, and industrial machinery. Many of them must withstand large, repeated loads and severe heat. Copper-alloy castings are at the center of our work, and we also take orders for castings in stainless steel, cast iron, and cast steel.

Using the right material, the right casting, and the right machining is a skill that cannot be learned in a short time.

Material, casting, and machining
MaterialFour material groups: copper alloys, stainless steel, cast iron, and cast steel. We check the chemical composition with an optical emission spectrometer and can provide material certificates.
CastingSand casting from approx. 5 kg to approx. 2 t, up to Φ2,000 × 2,000 L. Copper alloys and special alloys can also be centrifugally cast (Φ120–Φ800).
MachiningWe machine castings on 11 manual lathes (max. Φ1,850) and deliver them rough-machined or finish-machined. Finer precision turning is done by our group company, Hayahoshi Seiko.

Part II, Examples of Our Work: Fifteen examples, grouped by material.

We have grouped these examples by material and listed them in descending order of size. Rough-machined parts still carry a machining allowance; finish-machined parts are machined to the drawing dimensions. We can deliver in either condition. Dimensions in mm.

A single drawing is enough to start.

If it is a casting, please contact us. Knowing the material, dimensions, weight, and quantity helps us prepare a quotation quickly. After we receive your inquiry, we will let you know how to send drawings.
